Curbside Christmas Tree Collection

The Public Works Department will be collecting Christmas trees for Village residents January 6 - 10 and January 20 - 24. Place the trees at the street edge by 7 am on the first day of collection week. All trees are chipped at the curb. To avoid damage to our equipment, we ask that you follow these guidelines:

Remove and discard tree bags.
Remove all tree stands, ornaments, lights and other metal objects.

Trees that are not properly prepared will not be collected.

You may also dispose of your tree at the Village of Windsor Recycling Center located at 4035 Mueller Rd. Visit the Recycling Centers webpage for hours.

Because wreaths and garland are held together by wire, these will not be picked up by the crew, nor are they are accepted at the recycling center, they should be placed with your garbage.

Trees will be collected, WEATHER PERMITTING. Snow and ice control will take priority.
